Chikmagalur, Karnataka (India) - "Tekion Malnad Ultra". The Malnad Ultra is mostly a trail run through some of the most enchanting and exciting terrain that you can imagine for a run. It is designed to provide the next level experience for marathoners who have got bored of the usual city runs and want to graduate to the next level. The course is laid out in the heartland of Indian coffee in the Malnad region of Karnataka at elevations from 3000 to 4500 feet. In a way, The Malnad Ultra is not designed as a race per se. We think that the runners will take time for selfies, listen to the leaves rustle, the cicadas chirp and the birds sing. Massive jungle trees, thousands of silver oak trees and endless coffee plantations will catch your attention. With some luck, you will sight small wildlife like monkeys, porcupines, peacock, hares, giant squirrels, civet cats and snakes. Sal Rei, Boa Vista (Capo Verde) (Cape Verde) - "Boa Vista Ultra Trail". The event gives competitors a choice of three courses: the 150-kilometre Ultramarathon which takes them around the periphery of the island, the 75-kilometre Salt Marathon which has its finish-line in one of the island’s last-remaining salt pans, and the 42-kilometre Eco Marathon which takes athletes through unspoilt nature encompassing both ocean and desert scenarios. The three courses all share the same unique backdrop and constantly changing terrain: dirt tracks that turn into desert dunes, stony ground that eventually becomes proper road. Runners will be completely unaided throughout because in addition to competing against the clock and the rest of the field, they will also have to grapple with the island’s wild landscape and, of course, their own endurance levels. All in all, this is an event that leaves its mark. Boa Vista is the nearest of the Cape Verde islands to the African mainland and, with a population of just over 12,000, is one of the last-surviving unspoilt paradises. But when we join together for a common goal, we create a beautiful picture together, a mosaic of fun if you will! So we created this trail running weekend right here in the outskirts of Austin (in the amazingly rapidly-growing Liberty Hill) to give us an excuse to play together. All ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, and generations are invited to our new trail run at an awesome historic Texas ranch, right next to the city, on the San Gabriel River. Sabato 5 dicembre 2026 nasce la Garfagnana EPIC Trail – Winter Edition, un nuovo appuntamento dedicato a chi ama correre in montagna e vuole scoprire il fascino dell’Appennino nella sua veste più autentica e imprevedibile. Il punto di partenza e arrivo sarà il Casone di Profecchia, nel cuore dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, dove sentieri, boschi e crinali saranno lo scenario di una giornata tutta da vivere. Non sarà semplicemente la versione invernale della EPIC Trail di maggio: sarà un’esperienza diversa, pensata e costruita appositamente per questo ambiente e per questa stagione. UN PERCORSO CHE LO DECIDE ANCHE L’INVERNO. In montagna, a dicembre, le condizioni possono cambiare completamente da un giorno all’altro. Ed è proprio questo uno degli elementi che renderanno speciale la Garfagnana EPIC Trail – Winter Edition. Il percorso definit ivo sarà scelto in prossimità dell’evento in funzione delle condizioni meteorologiche e dell’eventuale presenza di neve, con l’obiettivo di garantire sempre la sicurezza dei partecipanti senza rinunciare allo spirito EPIC. Nelle condizioni migliori, il tracciato potrà svilupparsi per circa 25 km e 800 metri di dislivello positivo, attraversando boschi e sentieri dell’Appennino. In presenza di condizioni più impegnative potranno essere utilizzate varianti più brevi: circa 20 km con 700 m D+, oppure 16 km con 550 m D+ in caso di neve. Se l’inverno dovesse invece regalarci una nevicata davvero importante, sarà pronto un percorso di circa 9 km e 500 m D+, per trasformare la giornata in una vera esperienza di winter trail. Perché qui il percorso non è soltanto una traccia sulla mappa. È la montagna a decidere. E noi siamo pronti a viverla. www.garfagnanaepic.com

Kings Mountain, North Carolina (United States of America) - "Beast of the East 100". We will be running the entire trail system of Crowders Mountain. Both mountain peaks will be summitted. You get a nice beautiful view of the lake too. This race is more than a race, it is a celebration of one of the most iconic trail systems right here in the Charlotte area. To finish the 100 miler, there is a 32 hour time limit. For the 50 mile it will be a 18 hour cut off. For the 25 miler it will have a 10 hour cut off.
